THINK SUMMER INSTITUTE
The Davidson Institute is seeking profoundly gifted students, ages 12 through 15, who are interested in attending the THINK Summer Institute, a three-week residential summer program on the campus of the University of Nevada, Reno where students can earn up to seven college credits.
The THINK Summer Institute runs the last three weeks in July. Tuition is $1,800 and covers course credits, room and board and the cost of planned programs and activities. Financial assistance is available based on need.

DAVIDSON FELLOWS
The Davidson Fellows program awards $50,000, $25,000 and $10,000 scholarships annually to recognize outstanding students under the age of 18 who have completed significant work in science, mathematics, technology, literature, music, philosophy or outside the box. Davidson Fellows are honored for their achievement at an awards ceremony in Washington, D.C.

Washington Interscholastic Activities Association
     WIAA is a coalition of organizations sponsoring academic and athletic competitions.  Their website and Journal give a complete schedule of competition dates as well as descriptions of the participating organizations.  Contact information is available for each organization.  The following competitions are those often used with gifted students, but many other options are available including science fairs and math competitions.
